PalmOS가 설치되어 있는 PDA를 일반적으로 Palm 호환 PDA라고 한다.

소니의 Clie, Palm사의 Palm계열, IBM의 Workpad, 뭐 기타등등(기억이안남)이 있다.

모토롤라의 드래곤볼 CPU를 사용해왔으나, 요즘(2003년7월) 나오는 신기종은 WinCE계열과 그다지 스펙에서는 차이가 없다.

이곳은 잠정적으로 업데이트가.. 아마도 안 이루어질듯 함.

Palm을 다시 만질 기회가 올지 잘 모르겠기도 하고.. 여하튼 그렇다.

조금 더 읽어보니 역시나, ARM 프로세서에서 구동 가능하게 맹글었다. 원문에서 Palm OS 5 is a fully ARM-native, 라고 말한걸 봐서는, 개발 플랫폼 자체를 ARM 쪽으로 힘을 싣겠다는건데... Palm도 역시 먹고 살?힘드니깐 ARM으로 승부를 보려는 것인지. 좀더 높은 시퓨 파워, 좀더 많은 메모리의 끝에는 어떤 PDA가...

이젠 Palm도 Palm 나름의 맛을 느끼기 힘들어질려나.
